The current collection of the Lebanese National Library includes documents that had been stored in 3400 boxes after the closing of
the National Library (Dar Al Koutoub Al Wataniah) in 1979
.
Recent acquisitions have made additions to this ancient collection through personal donations, the ISBN, and the Ministry of Culture (
